So begins an intense book about fighting for the helpless and living in an honorable way despite the circumstances. This book will is unpredictable and will take you for a wild ride. What is the best part is the redemption aspects. God can strengthen us in the midst of weakness.

Zane is used to facing impossible situations.
He is willing to do what it takes to fulfill the mission. But when the woman he has always loved us suddenly in danger, the stakes feel much too high. Can he still what it takes to keep her safe and trust his team to have his back?

Tessa is tough and rather bristly. Her walls are very high to keep everyone out. She doesn’t let people care about her and is abrasive. (She is not very likeable at first.) But gradually her story is revealed and her reactions make sense. She has to separate the truth from the lies to recognize that she is worth redeeming.

This is such a great book. Faith plays a powerful role. The suspense keeps you on edge. And the love story is one that took years to play out. I can’t wait to read more in the series. A strong cast of characters!
