I have been a bit silent on this blog after Thanksgiving. I think maybe that is okay – I have been living the Advent instead of writing about it. (And maybe writing a bit too much on my other blog, but … ) Anyway, when I was making dinner, I was listening to one of my favorite albums. “Christmas” by Jill Phillips and Andy Gullahorn. A wonderful mix of original and classic Christmas songs.
This particular song is one of the best. I heard him perform the song live. I think I was crying by the 2nd verse. A beautiful way of looking at the Christmas story. Bonus: the version I found has Andy telling the story behind the song.
